Why I'm running for re-election
I’m running for re-election to the San Carlos City Council to continue to serve the community where I was raised, which nurtured my family, and provided me a platform for both business success and civic involvement. As your Councilmember, I’ve worked these past nine years to keep San Carlos safe and financially strong, create more affordable housing, address traffic concerns and craft sound and effective environmental policies. There is still much work to be done especially now with the impacts of the pandemic. I want to use my experience to help San Carlos navigate through this challenging and important time.
My 35+ years as a successful small businessman and my service on our Planning Commission, Economic Development Advisory Commission, Educational Foundation, and our Chamber of Commerce helped prepare me to apply my public and private experience toward solving our civic challenges. This experience has enabled me to always look for pragmatic and workable solutions to the many complex issues we have faced.
My Goals for the Next Four Years
a balanced budget with a diversity of revenue sources.
to pursue decent affordable housing for all income levels.
the character of our residential neighborhoods.
environmentally sound building codes that reflect our commitment to the highest and most current green energy standards.
more ways to address our traffic and downtown parking issues.
Develop and IMPLEMENT
a comprehensive action plan for wildfire preparedness.
our families and small businesses recover economically from the impacts due to the pandemic.
that San Carlos remains a safe, inclusive, and welcoming community.
It has been my pleasure to be your representative on our City Council and with your help I look forward to continuing to do the hard, but fulfilling work for the benefit of the people of San Carlos.
